04Intellectual property
The Signal Quest trademark, logo, interface, editorial content and source code are the property of Meovo, with the exception of third-party content (maps, ANFR datasets, user contributions, open-source libraries), which remains the property of its authors and is used in accordance with their licences.
Any reproduction, representation, modification or adaptation, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited and constitutes an infringement (contrefaçon) punishable under Articles L335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
05Third-party trademarks & operators
Signal Quest is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, partnered with or sponsored by mobile network operators (Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom, Free Mobile…), nor by ANFR, ARCEP or any official body.
Operator names, trademarks and logos are mentioned purely for identification and information — to help users identify the network they are connected to — without creating any confusion as to the origin of the service. These trademarks remain the property of their owners. For any request about the use of a trademark: legal@signalquest.fr.
06Reporting & moderation (DSA)
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 on digital services (“DSA”), Signal Quest provides a mechanism for reporting content that may be unlawful (photos, messages, contributions).
Any content can be reported with the “Report” button in the application, or by email at abuse@signalquest.fr. This single point of contact is also open to the authorities (Arts. 11 and 12 DSA).
Statement of reasons (Art. 17). When content is removed or restricted following a report, its author is informed of the decision and of its reasons. Contesting a decision. Although Meovo, as a micro-enterprise, is exempt from the internal complaint-handling system of Article 20 DSA, any person concerned may, on a voluntary basis, contest a decision free of charge by writing to abuse@signalquest.fr; the request is reviewed and a reasoned reply is given within a reasonable time.
07Data sources & licences
Signal Quest aggregates data from open sources and contributions from its community. The sources and their licences (ANFR / data.gouv.fr — Licence Ouverte Etalab; OpenStreetMap — ODbL; base maps; user contributions) are detailed on the Data Licence page.
Coverage data, cell tower identifications and operator comparisons that come from the community are provided for information only. They are neither official nor contractual, may contain inaccuracies, and do not bind operators or official bodies.
